Please read these rules as well as the information before signing up. This round is a free round, you can claim any movie or TV show you want to. This round we are claiming a favorite 'comfort' movie or tv show.
INFO Comfort movies/shows don't have to be low energy or low stakes to be soothing; they simply have to evoke a certain mood or atmosphere, or transport viewers to a world they'll want to revisit. With this in mind pick a comfort comfort movie or show that you love to watch over and over that makes you feel better. Is your favorite movie: Scream, Chucky, Avengers, Star Wars, Indiana Jones, Back to The Future, Lion King, ect? Or is your favorite comfort show: Supernatural, Scooby-Doo, Rugrats, Gilmore Girls, NCIS, Criminal Minds, ect? If so then claim it! Anything goes as long as it is a comfort to you.
Guidelines
• Sign ups will be open for the duration of this round.
• You must be a member of LiveJournal and a member of the community to participate.
• Please do not post your icons to this post. Please make your own post and submit it to the community.
• No claim can be chosen more than 3 times.
• You can change your claim at any time.
• Posting is moderated, once your post is submitted please await approval. If your post has not yet been approved within 48 hours please contact me or comment here.
Show and Movie Guidelines
• Claims can only be claimed 3 times. This is for both movies and shows.
• For shows you can claim: The whole show, a season or a episode.
• For Movies you can claim: A franchise, one movie, one or a couple movies in a franchise.
• NEW - You can now claim a character, group, certain characters or couples in a show or movie. You can do one character or however many you want from your claim, or just the whole movie and all characters. If you're unsure just ask. This also goes for franchises. Want to claim Star Trek? But not sure what show you want, claim them all! Same for Star Wars or Scream movies, you get the idea.

Suggestions : Red, multiple blending, double crop, obscure vibrant crop, muted, painted effect, personification, massive blocking, white + some color + full body, cheek text, darkness, overwhelming text, half-half, cover look alike
Where you will post your icons: My graphics community
• Multiple Blending - In this task, you need to add at least 3 different caps in one icon.
• Double Crop - Your icon has to contain two kinds of crop, ie. close crop + far away, faceless + eyes only, etc.
• Cover Look Alike - Your task here is to make as natural coloring as you can, also catch the person in icon like it would be on cover of magazine, BUT YOU CAN'T USE ANY PHOTOSHOOTS, ONLY SCREENCAPS!
• Personification - You have to add textures/text/coloring, etc to personificate the character. If you are using non-decorative textures/coloring, please explain your choice, please.
• Obscure Vibrant Crop - The coloring must be vibrant and at the same time the crop must be obscured
• Massive Blocking - There must be used AT LEAST 3 different caps in the icon, with various composition that looks icon if full.
• White + Some Color + Full Body - You can have some colors in the icon, but white must be the main color in the icon.
• Cheek Text - Text must be places at character's cheek, or near it and the character needs to be in profile.
• Darkness - Your icon has to have the darkest color you can achive. It can have some lighter spots, but overall coloring has to be dark.
• Overwhelming Text - Now you have to make icon, where text plays main role, we see it 'before' the picture in the icon.
• Half-Half - Your icon has to have two sections: the 'main picture' and the texture/other not-main-picture one. And they need to be (exactly or approximately) 50x100px and 50x100px.
